Dr. Robin Umbra

Dr. Robin Umbra is a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Hohenheim. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Business and Social Sciences and his master’s degree in Export and Internationalization Management at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, Austria.
During his studies he specialized in International Management, International Business (English/Russian), and Entrepreneurship & Innovation. Alongside his coursework, he pursued independent research in Work and Organizational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, and Behavioral Neuroscience.
His research centers on moral emotions—anger, disgust, guilt, and shame—as well as aggression and violence, and their regulation with the goal of enhancing performance and well-being in the workplace. Another key interest is personality research, particularly the Dark Tetrad (narcissism, Machiavellianism, psychopathy, and sadism) and its relevance in organizational contexts.
