Dr. Nora Hampel is a post-doctoral researcher in the Department of Business and Organizational Psychology at the Institute for Education, Work and Society at the University of Hohenheim. Prior to this, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Leibniz-Institut für Wissensmedien in Tübingen. She obtained her doctoral degree from University of Tübingen in cooperation with Mercedes-Benz AG at the research campus ARENA2036. In her dissertation, she investigated the implementation of new technologies in the context of Industry 4.0 and gained extensive practical experience in organizational settings.

Her research areas include technology acceptance, business and social psychology. She combines basic psychological research with applied, practice-oriented research questions.

At the University of Hohenheim, she coordinates the interdisciplinary research and practice project SAFEspace@Work, which aims to sustainably strengthen psychological safety and diversity in interaction-intensive work contexts.

Her current research focuses on the following topics:

  • Diversity and psychological safety in organizations
  • Acceptance of digital technologies and artificial intelligence
  • Change management and leadership
